About Course

This advanced online Arabic grammar course offers a detailed linguistic study of Surah Taha, focusing on both I‘rāb (grammatical analysis) and Sarf (morphology). Designed for students with a foundational knowledge of Arabic grammar, the course provides a practical and immersive approach to understanding the language of the Qur’an through a verse-by-verse examination of one of its most profound chapters.

Throughout the course, students will analyze the grammatical structure of selected passages from Sūrah Ṭā Hā, identifying the syntactic roles of words and phrases, examining sentence construction, and understanding the relationships between grammatical elements. Special attention is given to I‘rāb, enabling students to determine the grammatical function of nouns, verbs, particles, and clauses within the context of the verses.

Alongside grammatical analysis, students will explore the Sarf of Qur’anic vocabulary by studying root letters, word patterns, derived forms, verb structures, participles, verbal nouns, and other morphological features. This approach helps learners understand how meaning is conveyed through word formation and derivation while simultaneously expanding their Qur’anic vocabulary.

The course combines detailed explanations, guided parsing exercises, vocabulary analysis, and discussions of selected linguistic subtleties found in the sūrah. Students will learn how grammatical and morphological knowledge enhances comprehension of the Qur’anic text and deepens appreciation of its linguistic precision and eloquence.

By studying Sūrah Ṭā Hā in depth, learners will strengthen their ability to perform independent grammatical analysis, recognize morphological patterns, and engage with Qur’anic Arabic at a more advanced level. This course is ideal for students of Arabic, Qur’anic studies, and Islamic sciences who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the language of the Qur’an through practical application of grammar and morphology.
